An Easter Bonnet for Lily by Jodi Stone

As always when it comes to children's books, I let my Junior Reviewer, Gallataea (age 6) say a few words about the book >^.^<

"I liked the part where Lily got her hat. I liked how by being calm Savannah and Lily realized they were not useless, but able to help in different ways" - Gallataea

This is the perfect story about realizing your potential. Children of all ages will enjoy this new classic Easter story about friendship and over coming problems that seem to have no solution.
I also liked the illustrations. Jodi is a very talented person to write and illustrate her book. The pictures are perfect for little eyes. The colors are vibrant and stand out.
I give this book 4 of 5 paws

Ethan's Story: My Life With Autism by Ethan Rice

First I'd like to explain a few things to you my loyal fans. I've wanted to read this story since I first about it on the Lil Anchor's facebook page. More importantly I wanted my six year old daughter to read this story. Children and Adults with Autism are often treated harshly, looked at strange. or made fun of. This is due in large to parents not teaching their children about the disorder. I'll admit myself I know very little about Autism but I teach my children to love everyone even if they're different. Now I'll Gallataea, my Junior Reviewer give her opinions on this story

"Ethan is kind of like me. I like to bounce around a lot too. And sometimes I have trouble staying still too. I don't understand why it's hard for Ethan to make friends. I'd be his friend if I knew him" - Gallataea

While I read this story I couldn't help thinking that Ethan is really no different than myself. Ethan's fears and hesitations are really no different than most of our own. He just reacts to them a bit more noticeably than other people do. I really do urge all of you with children, or young siblings, nieces, nephews etc to read this story to them. Children can be cruel and heartless when it comes to things they don't understand. I give Ethan so much credit for not only be a published 8 year old, but being Autistic and having the courage to tell the world how he sees the world so he can help other children like him and help other children understand. This book is wonderfully written, the illustrations are perfect for the story. This will eventually become a member of my children's bookshelf once I get a print copy. I give this book 5 of 5 paws

Fox and Rabbit's Garden (A Tale of the Rabbit-less Stew) by Laurel Hegel

Since this a children's book. I thought I'd let my Junior Reviewer Gallataea tell us her thoughts on the book.

"I liked this book.I liked that even though they shouldn't like each other, they co operated (this is her favorite word of the week apparently) and made stew together." - Gallataea, age 6

And I get to play the role of proud momma right now. Taea just won a signed copy of this book in the Lil Anchor Coloring Contest >^.^<

Okay now here are my thoughts on this book.
I think this is quite possibly the cutest children's book I've seen in awhile. The illustrations are very nicely done. Not too bright to distract from the story, but enough to attract the child to the book. The story is written in rhyme. Which helps the beginner reader with word association and makes the story fun.  The words are simple enough so not to give the reader any issues with how to say them, and the rhyming will bring joy to all the small children who hear it.
I personally hope Fox and Rabbit have many more adventures together as their friendship and love of Rabbit-less Stew grows.
I give this book 5 of 5 puppy paws
